Job summary

Want More is seeking a skilled Contract Mason for our project in Nizwa, Oman. The role involves building and repairing walls, floors, and patios using brick, stone, and concrete, with(Blueprint reading) and the use of trowels and chisels. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications.
• Proficient with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels.
• Knowledge of masonry materials including brick, stone and concrete.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy materials and stand long hours.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Must have valid visa sponsorship for working in Oman.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Measure and cut materials to fit specifications.
• Lay bricks or stones in a pattern to create walls or structures.
• Mix mortar and apply it evenly between bricks or stones.
• Use hand tools such as trowels and chisels to shape and smooth materials.
• Repair or replace damaged brick or stone work.
• Ensure structures are level and plumb using levels and other tools.
• Follow safety procedures while working on construction sites.
