Qualifications

• Experience as mason is required.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and blueprints.
• Knowledge of different building materials and their uses.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy manual labor.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Construct structures according to building plans and blueprints.
• Lay out foundation lines using plumb bobs, levels, and tapes.
• Cut bricks, blocks, or other materials to size.
• Mix mortar or grout for construction uses.
• Place bricks/blocks with mortar or adhesives and secure them.
• Repair cracks or damages on existing structures.
• Apply finishes like stucco or cement plaster on walls.
• Clean work area after project completion.
