Scope of Position
  • Acquire, develop, and manage leisure accounts across Europe, including tour operators, wholesalers, consortia, luxury travel agencies, and key leisure partners, in line with the hotel's business mix strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships to maximize revenue from European source markets.
  • Ensure maximum acceptance and conversion of RFP opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, economic conditions, and customer demand within Europe, identifying opportunities and potential risks.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on account and segment performance, recommending strategies to maximize revenue and address shortfalls.
  • Implement sales action plans and initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Quote and negotiate rates for transient, long-stay, and group business within established commercial guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate account records, production data, and customer profiles within the sales management system.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the property's target markets, customer needs, and competitive positioning to drive business growth.
  • Adhere to established sales strategies during negotiations and maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, including promotion of the MOHG portfolio through the MObilise programme.
  • Ensure all customer inquiries and requests are handled in accordance with company response standards.
  • Prepare account performance updates, market intelligence, and customer feedback for weekly and monthly sales meetings.
  • Conduct sales calls, client presentations, site inspections, client entertainment activities, and familiarization trips as required.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, and industry events across Europe.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, guests, and internal stakeholders to drive account retention and growth.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and effectively.
  • Foster strong working relationships across all hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide account coverage and support as required by the Department Head.
