Job summary

SuperAnnotate AI, Inc. is seeking a Kannada Quality Assurance Lead (QAL) for an hourly remote contractor role.

You will oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Kannada AI training projects, review AI-generated Kannada content, and ensure adherence to project guidelines. You will assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and cultural context, provide precise written feedback, spot recurring issues, and help onboard and activate contributors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Kannada, Linguistics, Translation, or related field.
• Native or near-native Kannada with strong reading/writing skills.
• Strong English to follow guidelines and give feedback in English.
• 3+ years Kannada writing, editing, translation, localization or QA workflows.
• Understanding Kannada grammar, punctuation, tone, and cultural context.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers/QAs is preferred.
• Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets/Docs, trackers, dashboards, PM systems.

Responsibilities

• Quality monitoring: spot-check Kannada items and provide feedback.
• Trainer and QA communication: update guidelines and project changes on Discord.
• Question handling: respond clearly about Kannada wording and context.
• Trainer/QA activation management: DM inactive contributors and track follow-ups.
• Documentation: create/maintain Kannada project docs, style guides, FAQs.
• Onboarding and training: run onboarding calls explaining expectations and rubrics.
• Quality alignment: ensure consistent Kannada guidelines across teams.
• Process improvement: identify gaps and propose scalable QA workflows.
