Job summary

SuperAnnotate AI, Inc. is seeking a Kannada Language Specialist (SME) for an hourly, remote contractor role. You will review AI-generated Kannada content, create high-quality references, and rate multiple AI responses based on accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness.

The work requires precise feedback in Kannada and English, with domain knowledge in linguistics and translation QA. You will assess outputs for grammar, tone, and consistency, rewrite as needed, and build model answers that

Qualifications

Native or near-native Kannada proficiency
Strong professional proficiency in English (C1) to provide feedback in English
3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, QA, or journalism
Deep understanding of Kannada grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style
Able to explain why something is wrong and how to fix it
Experience with AI data training/annotation or rubric-based evaluation preferred

Responsibilities

Review and quality-check translations of English science questions (ARC) in Kannada
Compare original translations and AI corrections against English source for accuracy
Select the appropriate outcome and provide a brief review comment to preserve meaning and difficulty
