Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Market Curation Editor (Culture) to serve as the human quality layer behind automated prediction markets, shaping which opportunities are published. The role requires deep U.S.

cultural knowledge across TV, film, music, and fandoms, with sharp editorial judgment and a focus on source‑based accuracy. You will review queues, approve or edit markets, and rewrite questions for precision, all while navigating rumors, release date changes, and evolving charts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in entertainment journalism or editorial roles.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. entertainment culture.
• Strong judgment for rumors vs. confirmed info.
• Ability to interpret multiple sources quickly.
• Excellent written communication and precision.
• Comfort with deadlines and live events.

Responsibilities

• Review daily queues of system-generated culture markets against fixed deadlines.
• Evaluate markets for factual accuracy, clarity, relevance, and source reliability.
• Verify opening/closing times against underlying cultural events.
• Rewrite questions and criteria for precision and fan-oriented language.
• Create timestamped clarifications during live markets and handle settlements when data feeds fail.
• Calibrate decisions with team leads to align with guidelines.
