Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Reliability Engineer to lead reliability programs and asset performance improvements across mining and industrial operations. You will drive maintenance optimization, RCFA investigations, and RCM studies to maximize asset value and reduce lifecycle costs.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, performance analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Projects teams to sustain reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, reliability engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in reliability engineering, asset management, maintenance optimization or related fields.
• Experience supporting commissioning, start-up and ramp-up activities is desirable.
• Certification in reliability/maintenance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability engineering and strategy management programs to improve asset availability.
• Monitor asset performance, develop KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead RCFA investigations and RCMA/RCM studies for critical assets.
• Develop maintenance strategies, task plans, and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support risk assessments, asset criticality, and lifecycle planning.
• Utilize data analytics to identify performance gaps and drive optimization.
• Prepare reliability dashboards and management presentations.
