Job summary

Carmeuse seeks a maintenance engineer to develop and administer autonomous, preventive and predictive maintenance programs across site operations. You will review inspection quality, select and implement CMMS, and coordinate predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.

As a TPM Focus Improvement pillar lead, you will review equipment history, schedule inspections, lead root-cause analyses and contribute to cost control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer Autonomous Maintenance, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance programs
• Review and improve inspection checklists and their frequency
• Select, implement and train CMMS systems
• Coordinate vibration analysis, oil analysis, NDT, ultrasonic and infrared activities
• Lead focus on TPM for process improvement
• Review equipment history and maintenance costs to determine needs
• Schedule inspections and repairs in coordination with Maintenance and Operations
• Conduct studies to increase equipment reliability and reduce costs
• Recommend modifications or replacements to improve reliability
• Develop standards for major jobs and cost control
• Involve production personnel in inspection and lubrication tasks
