Job summary

Gender is seeking a maintenance professional to develop and administer the Autonomous Maintenance, the Preventative and Predictive Maintenance program and review inspection checklists and their frequency. The role also involves selecting, implementing, training and supporting the systems (CMMS, ).

You'll coordinate vibration analysis activities, oil analysis, non-destructive testing, ultrasonic and infrared activities as part of Predictive Maintenance, and you will support the TPM Focus

Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and administering maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance and reliability analyses.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple non-destructive and infrared testing activities.

Job description

  • Develop and administer the Autonomous Maintenance, the Preventative and Predictive Maintenance program and review on a regular basis the quality of inspection checklists and their frequency.
  • Select, implement, train and support the systems (CMMS, ).
  • Coordinate and participate in vibration analysis activities, oil analysis, non-destructive testing, ultrasonic activities, infrared activities and all other advanced detection activities as required (Predictive Maintenance Activities).
  • He is the support person in the Focus Improvement Pillar of the TPM program.
  • Constantly review the information systems to ensure their adequacy and use them to review key performance indicators assessing the adequacy of the maintenance programs.
Maintenance responsibilities
  • Assessment of installed equipment to ensure maintainability, parts, maintenance, instructions, prints, adequacy of design and installation works.
  • Review repair history and costs to determine repair, rebuild, overhaul, or corrective maintenance needs
  • Review the PM services to ensure that they are conducted on time and according to standards.
  • Review equipment inspection deficiencies uncovered, as a source of corrective maintenance and routinely lead failure analysis teams to determine root causes of failures or problems.
  • Manage equipment history records in order to provide feedback for work orders, information for preventative and predictive maintenance activities and to provide environmental compliance assurance documentation.
  • Interface with Maintenance and Operations to schedule and prioritize inspections and repair work and identify equipment problems, which may impact negatively the process.
  • Conduct studies needed in order to increase equipment reliability while reducing maintenance costs.
  • Recommend modifications or replacements in order to increase reliability.
  • Make improvement suggestions when reviewing proposed CAPEX or major maintenance projects.
Budget responsibilities
  • Help to develop standards for individual major jobs, procedures for performing work, cost level and the quantity of resources used.
  • Periodically make cost-benefit reviews to determine the actions which have to be made or bought.
  • Record and analyze reports from all maintenance activities in an effort to ensure that all necessary repairs are planned and executed prior to deterioration of equipment and to maximize equipment reliability, make use of available resources and minimize costs.
