Job summary

Confidential Company in Oman is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to support cost management across ongoing projects. You will assist in interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports, and measure quantities from drawings to prepare bills of quantities and take-offs.

You will coordinate with site teams, assist in procurement, subcontractor payments, and maintain robust documentation to support contractual and budgeting processes under the guidance of the Senior QS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation and bill of quantities.
• Experience in procurement and subcontractor payments.
• Familiarity with cost control and cash flow forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interim valuations, final accounts and cost reports.
• Measure quantities from drawings and site for BOQ.
• Support cost estimation for variations and change orders.
• Coordinate with site teams to monitor progress and cost value reports.
• Assist in subcontractor payments, invoices and comparisons.
• Maintain records of drawings, site instructions and contractual correspondence.
• Support procurement for technical clarification and budget comparison.
• Assist cash flow forecasts and cost control measures to keep projects within budget.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors under Senior QS guidance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, contract terms and industry standards.
