Job summary

SMC International Placement is seeking an Experienced QC – Electrical QC Inspector for a Saudi Arabia project. You will inspect electrical installations, cables, panels, and grounding systems to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and ITPs.

Responsibilities include witnessing tests, preparing ITRs, and coordinating with site teams and client inspectors to ensure quality and HSE compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in QA/QC for electrical installations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical installation works for compliance with drawings, specs and standards.
• Inspect cable laying, glanding, termination, trays and conduits.
• Verify installation of panels, switchgear, transformers, motors and lighting.
• Inspect earthing, grounding and lightning protection systems.
• Review drawings, ITPs and method statements.
• Witness insulation resistance, continuity and earth resistance tests.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Verify materials, certificates, and inspection records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and client inspectors.
• Prepare inspection reports, ITRs and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project quality and site HSE procedures.
