Job summary

Tawteen seeks a QA/QC Inspector Civil to oversee and monitor civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with ITPs, QCPs, project specs and international standards (BS, ACI, ASTM). The role requires inspection of foundations, excavation, concrete works, roads, and related activities with a focus on quality control and safety at site.

Candidate should have Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in civil/structural works, and strong English

Qualifications

• Experience with QA/QC inspections and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect civil works including foundations, excavation, backfilling, concrete works, roads, paving, trenches and buildings.
• Inspect subgrade compaction, elevations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, curing, grouting, waterproofing and coating works.
• Monitor concrete quality, mix design, testing and pouring activities.
• Witness third-party testing and verify compliance with specifications and standards.
• Identify quality issues and issue NCRs as required.
• Ensure implementation of project Quality Plans and ITP requirements.
• Maintain and prepare inspection records and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Promote compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices at site.

Job Title: QA QC Inspector Civil

Job Summary: Responsible for inspecting and monitoring civil construction activities to ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Quality Control Plans (QCP), project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards such as BS, ACI, and ASTM nbsp.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of civil works including foundations, excavation, backfilling, concrete works, roads, paving, trenches, and buildings.
• Inspect subgrade compaction, elevations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete pouring, curing, grouting, waterproofing, and coating works.
• Monitor concrete quality, mix design, testing, and pouring activities.
• Witness third-party testing and verify compliance with approved specifications and standards.
• Identify quality issues and issue Surveillance Reports and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
• Ensure implementation of project Quality Plans and approved ITP requirements.
• Maintain and prepare inspection records and quality documentation.

• Promote compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices at site.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
