Uknowva is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector to oversee quality assurance for a major project in Oman. The role focuses on monitoring incoming/outgoing materials and processes to ensure compliance with defined standards and client requirements.

You will conduct tests, analyze results, and report findings to arrest non-conformities. Strong knowledge of QA/QC standards and cross-functional coordination with engineering and construction teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in quality control or QA in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of QA/QC standards (ASME, API, ISO) is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate day-to-day quality control activities for the assigned project.
• Perform inspections on materials, products, and services against criteria and procedures.
• Witness tests such as hydrotest, pneumatic test, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.

Job Description:

Responsible for monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing materials, products, services for the assigned project, as well as the associated construction/production/manufacturing/installation etc processes.

Responsible for conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and reporting thereof. Overall, a Quality Control Inspector, is responsible for making sure that the material/product/service meets the expected standards before being sent to the customer so as to arrest/reduce the chances of failure/non conformity.

Duties:

• Responsible for all day to day activities and execution of all Quality Control plans for the assigned project in line with organizational and project/location specific QMS/CQP/PQP, international standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, IEC, etc), client and statutory requirements
• Responsible to perform various functional quality assessments & inspections on input samples (materials, products, services) and accept/reject based on specified internal/external criteria and defined procedures. Also responsible for witness tests including hydrotest, pneumatic test, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Responsible to assess & inspect output samples (materials, products, services) and accept/reject based on specified internal/external criteria and defined procedures. Responsible to initiate corrective actions on non-conformities and monitor & track them to completion
• Responsible to define functional inspection and test processes and document inspection outcomes by completing detailed inspection reports and performance records. Responsible to measure, track and monitor improvements to the construction/production/manufacturing/installation etc process to ensure quality control.
• Responsible for Coordinate with construction, engineering, third-party inspectors, and client representatives.
• Responsible for Maintain quality documentation and inspection records.
• Responsible for Participate in internal and external audits.
• Responsible for Ensure full traceability of materials and installations.
• Responsible for all individual and specific departmental productivity targets, financial objectives, KPIs and attainment thereof.
