The role oversees all site construction planning, contractor evaluation and management, reporting, and forecasting from constructability review through mechanical completion, with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Execute all construction activities safely, promoting a Safety-First culture.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards and contractual obligations, including permits and environmental rules.
• Develop detailed construction sequences and schedules for efficient on-site execution.
• Manage the site construction supervision team and set daily priorities.
• Plan mobilization of subcontractors and tooling/equipment in line with schedules.
• Act as the point of contact for on-site issues and meetings with Client.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate activities to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and control the Scope of Work against Client requirements and subcontractor execution.
• Provide inputs to Project Contract Manager and review VORs per MOC procedure.
• Ensure team compliance with SLB Procedures and Guidelines.
• Verify and approve construction reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
• Hold weekly Construction Review meetings with Client and Subcontractor(s).

Jobbeschreibung

The main responsibilities as SLB representative at Site is the leadership, direction and technical expertise to develop detailed project Key Indicators plans and schedules to ensure all construction activities are completed on time. This includes coordinating with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to align schedules and resources.

The role will be responsible for all construction related planning, civil/mechanical/E&I contractor evaluation, contractor management, team management supervision, reporting and forecasting (physical and financial) on all aspects of the site construction phase of projects from constructability review through to mechanical completion (MC).

Resposibilities

• Responsible for executing all construction activities in accordance with safety policies and procedures and promoting a Safety-First culture amongst company and contractor personnel.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, industry standards, and contractual obligations. This includes obtaining necessary permits and ensuring adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
• Develop detailed construction sequence and schedule to maximize the efficiency of on-site contractors, based on the forecast availability of equipment and engineering deliverables.
• Manage the site construction supervision team and set daily priorities including all other Functions at Site, in accordance with overall project schedule.
• Plan the mobilization of assigned construction Subcontractors and necessary tooling/equipment to ensure they are mobilized in line with agreed schedules.
• Act as point of contact for all on-site issues and meetings with Client.
• Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
• Monitor and Control the Scope of Work against Client Requirement and Subcontractor execution.
• Provide Inputs to Project Contract Manager, and review VORs (External/Internal), following the MOC procedure.
• To follow and ensure that all team under his/her supervision comply with SLB Procedures and Guidelines.
• Verify and approve: Construction (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) Reports.
• Hold weekly meetings of Construction to review (Indicators, performance, progress) with Client, and with Subcontractor(s) exposing the relevant facts related to progress, quality, SMS, activity scheduling and others. And ensure that is minuted and signed by stakeholders.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 15+ years Industry experience as
• Construction Manager in Oil & Gas EPCC Projects.
• Ability to liaise with a wide variety of staff and Clients at all levels
• Be able to demonstrate Leadership skills, also be able to mobilize people and teams and drive for a successful delivery.
