Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking a Production Operator in Muscat to operate machines and ensure product quality in a food-industry environment. You will monitor processes, perform adjustments, and maintain equipment while following health and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes timely documentation and collaboration with senior technicians to troubleshoot and prevent downtime. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness and lubrication routines, support maintenance teams, and ensure raw materials

Responsibilities

• 1. Operating machines and processes to produce the required quality product.
• 2. Continuously monitor production Operations to ensure that the required standards are in conformity.
• 3. Necessary adjustments to equipment or processes to ensure compliance with the degree of quality by communicating & confirming supervisory level team members.
• 4. Ensure the Raw materials availability for given production plan.
• 5. Should fulfil all production documentation related activities without fail.
• 6. Manage and maintain equipment and adhere to health and safety laws.
• 7. Need to attend daily production equipment breakdowns and troubleshooting along with senior technicians.
• 8. Conducting preventive maintenance activities as per planned schedules and documentation should update as required.
• 9. Spare parts identification and reporting to concerned senior team members.
• 10. Root cause analysis for attended failures and reporting.
• 11. Need to maintain personal & workplace hygiene as per Food industry safety standards.
• 12. Ensuring Machine cleaning & Lubrication related activities without fail.
