Job summary

Zohorecruit in Muscat, Oman is seeking a Senior Line Operator- Production to operate and monitor manufacturing lines, with preference for experience on Sidel and Krones equipment.

You will ensure quality and safety standards (GMP, ISO, food safety), perform routine maintenance, manage materials, document production records, and troubleshoot line issues in collaboration with senior technicians. This role emphasizes hygiene, health and safety, and continuous improvement of line efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sidel or Krones equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with GMP and ISO standards and food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery and processes to manufacture products, with preference for experience with Sidel and Krones equipment.
• Continuously monitor production operations to ensure compliance with established quality, safety, and production standards.
• Apply knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and food safety requirements in daily production activities.
• Make necessary equipment and process adjustments to maintain product quality, in consultation with supervisors and senior team members.
• Ensure the availability of required raw materials according to the production plan.
• Complete all production-related documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain production equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Attend equipment breakdowns and perform troubleshooting in coordination with senior technicians.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to planned schedules and ensure maintenance records are properly updated.
• Identify required spare parts and report requirements to the relevant senior personnel.
• Maintain personal and workplace hygiene in accordance with food-industry safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor production-line performance and implement initiatives to improve line efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure machine cleaning, lubrication, and routine care are completed as required.
