Experience is seeking a procurement professional in Oman to manage end-to-end sourcing, supplier evaluation, and order execution for mechanical engineering materials and services. You will coordinate with engineering, production, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with budgets and policies.

The role requires 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to travel internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required with procurement focus.
• Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Experience sourcing engineering materials, equipment, spare parts, and raw materials.

Responsabilités

• Review requisitions and confirm specifications, quantities, dates, budget, and approvals.
• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers for materials and services.
• Obtain quotations, perform commercial comparisons, and negotiate prices and terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders through ERP per procedures and approvals.
• Coordinate import logistics, freight forwarders, and customs clearance for timely delivery.
• Monitor open orders and address delays or quality issues affecting production.
• Develop and maintain approved vendor database and supplier performance records.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams for technical clarification.
