Job summary

ACWA NOMAC is seeking a Plant General Manager to provide overall direction for the plant, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations and optimum resource utilization. The role requires leadership of 7–10 direct reports and 100–250 indirect reports, with accountability for strategy, budgeting, production planning and continuous improvement.

You will drive operational plans, manage contracts, oversee IMS and SAP-related processes, and liaise with senior leadership and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12–15 years of experience managing a production plant in power and water desalination sectors.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking and strong contract/commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction to plant operations and maintenance to meet production objectives and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.
• Lead development of plant strategy aligned with ACWA NOMAC’s O&M plans and report to VP/Country Manager on activities, challenges and mitigations.
• Prepare board and management presentations with financial figures, operation metrics and manpower requirements.
