Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician in Muscat to examine, test, repair and service electrical power distribution systems and related equipment. You will analyze drawings and data, perform inspections, and document work orders to ensure reliable operations.

The role involves coordinating with teams during exercises, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining tools and PPE. English communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand technical data plans, blueprints and publications pertaining to BOB assets or similar DoD contingency systems.
• Experience with asset management tools and maintenance data.
• Strong English communication skills (basic level acceptable).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
• Experience with high/low voltage generators and load testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical equipment and systems for damages, corrosion and operation.
• Test, repair, service, and store electrical power distribution equipment and test tools.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and maintenance data to prevent failures.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and scheduled maintenance on all assigned equipment.
• Prepare documentation and update work orders and Maximo records.
• Support Bare Base power generation and related systems during exercises and contingencies.
• Follow safety, hazardous material, and quality standards in the workplace.
