Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Structural/PEB Lead to manage the design team and ensure timely, code-compliant project delivery. You will coordinate with engineers, designers and detailers while aligning with project goals and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in structural engineering with PEB focus, plus strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration across sales, estimation, PM, procurement, production and site teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
• 15+ years in structural engineering with significant PEB experience.
• Strong experience in PEB design, analysis, detailing and coordination.
• Experience managing a team of structural engineers and detailers.
• Minimum 5 years UAE experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the PEB structural design team incl. engineers, designers and detailers.
• Review project specifications, drawings, loading criteria and client requirements.
• Plan and allocate design work according to priorities, schedules and manpower.
• Review and approve design calculations, structural drawings, fabrication drawings and connections.
• Ensure designs comply with international and local codes.
• Coordinate with sales, estimation, project management, procurement, production and site teams.
• Review inputs to identify risks, clashes and constructability issues early.
• Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
