Qualifications

Part-Time Baker

Location: Muscat, Oman

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Part-Time Baker to join our team in Muscat. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to traditional and modern recipes. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety regulations are followed, and assisting with inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes
• Mix ingredients using commercial equipment
• Monitor oven temperatures to ensure proper baking times
• Decorate baked goods as needed
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products in a friendly manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a baker in a professional kitchen or bakery setting
• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern baking techniques
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
• Excellent time-management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)

Salary: $1100 per month (pro-rated based on hours worked)

Working Hours: Part-time (hours may vary)

Start Date: Immediate
