Job summary

Superiority of Modern Services LLC(SOMS) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for E&M projects and outages at Sur IPP. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical maintenance outage activities, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with schedules.

You will support the Mechanical Lead, manage outage preparation, and coordinate with operations, engineering, and contractors. Strong background in power plant mechanical systems and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in mechanical maintenance/outage planning in power/industrial settings preferred.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating maintenance activities during outages.

Responsibilities

• Support the Mechanical Lead in outage planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance with operations and contractors.
• Assist in reviewing progress, identifying concerns, and escalating critical issues.
• Prepare outage scopes, critical-path schedules, and resource plans.
• Provide technical support in troubleshooting, inspection, and commissioning of equipment.
