Job summary

ACWA Power in Oman seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, manage outage work, and coordinate with maintenance staff.

You will execute SAP CMMS work orders, ensure safety and environmental standards, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance procedures.

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 4-8 years experience required; strong English communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.).
• Experience with IMS/OSH frameworks and safety standards.
• Strong ability to review technical drawings and evaluation of quotations.
• Familiarity with SAP CMMS and maintenance planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Execute work orders in SAP CMMS and coordinate with planning engineer.
• Ensure IMS objectives and legal compliance are met.
• Mentor maintenance staff and conduct annual performance reviews.
• Prepare requisitions for parts within budget and ensure spares availability.
• Identify root causes of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
