NOV is seeking an Engineer – Operational Excellence to lead site-wide initiatives improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. You will supervise the QC team, uphold the QMS, and drive data‑driven performance reviews and audits.

Responsibilities include leading root-cause investigations, implementing corrective actions, and coaching staff in Lean methods to align quality with operational goals.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or related field).
• 4+ years in manufacturing or quality engineering roles.
• Proven experience leading operational excellence or continuous improvement programs.
• Lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management standards.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and leadership to supervise cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency with quality and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, SPC).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute operational excellence strategies across the site.
• Supervise the Quality Control team to ensure inspections, testing, and traceability meet standards.
• Maintain and improve the QMS and support audits.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Implement Lean tools to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply‑chain teams.
• Monitor metrics and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Facilitate training on quality and Lean methodologies.
