Overview
Supporting cross‑functional initiatives monitoring business performance, coordinating risk and improvement actions, contributing to energy transition and sustainability programs, and preparing management reports that support operational and strategic decision‑making. Provide solutions and ensure high‑quality reports to stakeholders, driving sustainable performance improvement by analyzing workflows, eliminating waste, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Engage with OE teams in achieving overall operational excellence in compliance with OQ8 standards, policies, and regulations.
- Support OE internal assessments; write assessment reports and develop action plans and recommendations leading to OE performance improvements.
- Support operational excellence gap analysis based on the Plan‑Do‑Check‑Adjust PDCA quality cycle and related activities.
- Support the development of OE action plans to close OE gaps and follow up on implementation progress.
- Identify risks hindering OE active deployment and develop risk mitigation measures; improve overall department OE performance and engage in OE performance dialogues.
- Participate in OE integrated or due diligence corporate assessments; write assessment reports and develop recommendations and action plans.
- Identify and control hazards and develop and follow up on recommendations as applicable.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of OE performance presentations to management.
- Maintain the department OE manual and procedures, benchmarks, best practices, and OE knowledge sharing activities.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of operational excellence training courses.
- Support process optimization, continuous improvement, and strategy development workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in operations excellence, performance management, risk management, planning, continuous improvement, sustainability, and project coordination within an industrial or energy-related environment.
- Strong exposure to energy efficiency, emissions reduction, sustainability reporting, decarbonization initiatives, or energy transition projects.
- Experience supporting enterprise or operational risk management processes, maintaining risk registers and action plans, coordinating risk reviews, tracking mitigation effectiveness, and overdue actions.
- Experience in business planning, annual planning cycles, strategy execution follow‑up, or cross‑functional coordination.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English, both in writing and orally, and strong communication skills for training, presentations, and report writing.
- Black Belt Certification preferred.
- International certifications such as EFQM or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
Technical Skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Power BI; Minitab desirable.
- Understanding of project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination, and fabrication.
Working Conditions
Office environment and field operations with moderate to intensive computer screen use. Sporadic travel to operational areas where the company operates.
