Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Traffic Management Supervisor to oversee and optimize the movement of GPMS cargo by land, air, and sea at Thumrait. You will supervise TM personnel, ensure compliance with ITAR and hazardous materials standards, and coordinate with multiple logistics systems to maintain in-transit visibility.

You will also develop training plans, verify data integrity, and collaborate with operations to schedule and execute shipments while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in personal computers and Windows OS, with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Excellent organization skills with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication; maintain COMSEC/OPSEC/COMPUSEC.
• Must be able to receive training and operate material handling equipment.
• Valid home-country driver’s license; ability to obtain host-nation license.
• Current HAZMAT Certification or ability to obtain it.
• Physically capable of lifting/pushing 50 lbs; PPE as required.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Schedules work priorities for Traffic Management Operations using GPMS and related taskers.
• Develops training plans and supervises personnel using automated freight systems for in-transit visibility.
• Verifies data: Nomenclatures, TCN, TAC, consignor/consignee codes, ITAR, and hazardous/material classifications.
• Classifies freight, selects codes and shipment modes; manages government funds obligations.
