Job summary

Tawteen is seeking a networking professional to install and manage network devices, configure policies, and monitor performance in Muscat. The role involves troubleshooting, security, and collaborating with vendors to resolve issues, ensuring uptime and security across LAN/WAN environments.

The candidate will support firewall, routing, switching environments per IT security policy, with monthly performance reporting and vendor coordination as part of routine duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/IT or related field.
• 3+ years IT experience with a focus on networking.
• Experience with network security, firewall, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Install network devices including active and passive appliances.
• Configure network device policies and user privileges.
• Monitor network performance and develop performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot networks and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement network tuning and bug fixes; escalate to vendors as needed.
• Prepare monthly network performance reports.
