G-NIUS | Powered by Goodman Masson is seeking a Risk Manager in Muscat, Oman to provide independent risk opinions on financial transactions across credit, operational and market risk. You will analyze financial statements, conduct stress tests and monitor portfolio risk in a dynamic, commercial environment.

The role requires 4–7+ years in risk analysis with cross-disciplinary experience, strong Excel modelling skills, and professional English proficiency.

Competenze

• 4-7+ years of relevant experience in risk analysis / credit risk / financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial analysis (BS/IS, ratios, cash flow), credit risk fundamentals, macroeconomics and basic contractual law.
• Demonstrable experience across multiple risk disciplines, particularly credit, operational and market risk.
• Strong financial analysis, modelling and Excel skills; ability to communicate clear, independent risk opinions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; knowledge of Python, VBA or SQL is a strong advantage.

Mansioni

• Provide independent risk assessments and opinions on financial transactions, covering credit, operational, market, project, FX and other exposures.
• Analyse counterparties’ financial statements, cash flows and models; conduct stress testing and recommend mitigants.
• Monitor clients' financial standing, repayment capacity and collateral sufficiency.
• Perform portfolio analysis and quality control.
• Support Risk Committee processes, operational-risk documentation, and risk reporting.
• Work with other departments and support the Head of Risk on additional risk matters.
