Maaden Gold and Base Metals (MGBM) is seeking a skilled professional to drive mineral and resource research, data analysis, and technical insight generation within Sustainability & Resource Growth. You will support R&D, data-driven decision-making, and process improvements across exploration, processing, and development workflows.

The role emphasizes governance, data management, and collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams to advance resource knowledge and innovation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geoscience, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Data Science, or a related discipline.
Advanced degree (Master’s) is an advantage.
3–5 years of experience in mineral resource analysis, research, or mining/processing environments.
Experience in data analysis, research support, and technical environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct research and analysis on mineral resources, geological/geophysical data, and processing characteristics (research support).
Assist in evaluating mineral properties, material behavior, and resource potential.
Analyze operational and research data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
Contribute to data-driven decision-making across resource growth initiatives.
Support R&D initiatives, including pilot testing and experimentation.
Assist in development and testing of new methodologies, tools, and approaches for resource evaluation.
Collaborate with geology, geophysics, mining, processing, and R&D teams to ensure integrated delivery of research outcomes.
Support development of standard operating procedures, best practices, and knowledge transfer.
