Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is seeking a professional Waiter to join a busy dining operation in Muscat. The role focuses on delivering courteous, efficient food and beverage service and upholding high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

You will take and fulfill orders accurately, maintain hygiene, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure a consistent dining experience across each shift. A high school diploma is required, with hospitality training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or hospitality training preferred.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, serve meals, and provide courteous and efficient food and beverage service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer satisfaction throughout service.
• Prepare dining areas and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service across each shift.
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and deliver a memorable dining experience.
• Report to the Restaurant Supervisor, Head Waiter, or Restaurant Manager and uphold professionalism and guest-focused service.
