Job summary

Al Khayyat Investments (AKI) is hiring a Medical Representative (Pharmaceuticals) in Muscat to drive sales, manage key stakeholder relationships, and execute local marketing plans across Oman.

You will conduct regular visits to healthcare professionals, detail products, and ensure full territory coverage while achieving targets. Fluency in English and MOH license are required, with travel within Oman expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Minimum of 2 years in the Omani healthcare/pharmaceutical market.
• Valid MOH Oman license is required.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
• Willingness to travel locally within Oman with a valid license.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven and proactive Medical Representative (Pharmaceuticals) to join our team in Oman. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing key stakeholder relationships, executing marketing strategies, and ensuring full territory coverage across your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Stakeholder Engagement & Detailing: Conduct regular visits to targeted healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, effectively detailing assigned product portfolios.
• Territory Coverage: Ensure full market and geographical coverage within the assigned territory in Oman.
• Sales & Target Achievement: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and overall business objectives using consultative selling techniques.
• Market & Competitor Intelligence: Maintain deep knowledge of the local market and gather/report market insights and competitor activities.
• Marketing Alignment: Implement and align local promotional and marketing activities in line with company best practices.
• Reporting & Administration: Maintain daily call reports, territory logs, and utilize company CRM/reporting systems accurately.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all industry compliance guidelines, ethical standards, and internal company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in the Omani healthcare / pharmaceutical market.
• Licensure: Valid Ministry of Health (MOH) Oman license is required.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills with strong commercial and business acumen.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel locally within the assigned territory with valid Omani license.
• Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
