Qualifications

• Maritime background with ships agency operations experience; Oman experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good understanding of processes and systems.
• Self-motivated with result orientation.
• Proactive with ability to anticipate issues and take preventive actions.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong problem solving and sound judgement.
• Ability to plan and direct operations while maintaining safety.
• Motivates others and can lead a team.
• Familiar with Port and local authorities regulations and tariffs.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Attend and board vessels as required and directed by the Manager/Supervisor.
• Coordinate assigned port calls effectively.
• Advise on contractor selection and submit competitive quotations.
• Ensure compliance with WASP and SOPs.
• Monitor vessels and follow up inquiries.
• Manage pre-funding and approvals for port calls.
• Maintain vessel files and update systems in real time.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders at all times.
• Report leads and port updates to supervisor.
• Monitor port-call expenses.
• Process Cash-in-Transit as per procedure.
• Proactively follow up and approve supplier invoices.
• Ensure cost-efficient vessel operations.
• Comply with PPE and QHSSE standards.
