Job summary

ACME Cleantech Solutions in Muscat is seeking a maintenance specialist to lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs in oil & gas environments.

You will plan and execute shutdowns, investigate failures, and deliver corrective actions plus KPI dashboards. Collaboration with Operations, Process, Electrical & Instrumentation teams and SAP-based spare parts management are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field (oil & gas).
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Experience with shutdown planning, execution and post-mortem analysis.
• Ability to analyze data from various sources (e.g., sensors).
• Proficiency in SAP for spare parts management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities
• Investigate failures and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare maintenance, shutdown, failure analysis reports, and KPI dashboards
• Timely execution of shutdown maintenance
• Spare parts management
• Cost control during maintenance
• Coordinate with Operations, Process, Electrical & Instrumentation teams
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permits-to-work, HSE procedures and plant guidelines
• Coordinate with Stores for inventory management and spare parts availability
• Ensure materials, tools and spares are available before shutdown
• Support statutory inspections, audits, asset integrity programs and OEM inspections
