Job summary

Raffles The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia seeks a Director of Operations to lead all daily and strategic operational aspects of our ultra-luxury resort. You will drive guest experience, oversee front office, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and security, and align with brand standards and safety protocols.

The role requires a proven track record in multi-department luxury hospitality, strong P&L management, and the ability to shape performance through KPIs, budgets, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in luxury hospitality operations management.
• Experience managing large-scale resort/hotel operations with multi-million budgets.
• Strong P&L, financial analysis, and budget optimization skills.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulations and luxury brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies aligned with luxury standards.
• Oversee all departments (front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, security).
• Manage operating budgets, monitor KPIs to optimize profitability.
• Lead and mentor operations team, drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain guest satisfaction through QA programs and proactive resolution.
• Negotiate contracts and oversee procurement for cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare and present detailed operational reports to executives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on revenue optimization and growth.
