Job summary

Jumeirah Muscat Bay in Oman is seeking a Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on identifying guest preferences, providing bar services, and upselling where appropriate to deliver a bespoke experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of bartending experience in international hospitality, a Higher Secondary School certificate, basic Food Hygiene Training, and strong knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years bartending experience in hospitality.
• Higher Secondary School certificate required.
• Basic Food Hygiene Training.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet guests’ needs, provide bar service and recommendations.
• Serve beverages according to defined standards and recipes.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Setup the bar and ensure visuals, shelf presentation and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with stewards to keep bar area hygienic and well-stocked.
• Check expiration dates and manage perishable garnishes.
