Job summary

PPOAR in Muscat is seeking a Loader Operator to operate front-end, skid steer, and backhoe loaders at construction sites, loading and unloading materials and equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

The role requires a valid loader license, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a team. Prior loader experience is preferred but not essential, and maintenance tasks are part of the job.

Qualifications

Loader Operator

We are hiring a skilled Loader Operator to join our team in Muscat. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load and unload materials and equipment at construction sites. This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of loaders such as front-end, skid steer, and backhoe loaders
• Load and unload materials and equipment onto trucks, trailers, or other transport vehicles
• Safely operate loader controls to maneuver materials and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on loader machinery to ensure proper functioning
• Follow safety protocols and procedures while operating loader machinery
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times
• Report any malfunctions or issues with the loader machinery to the supervisor
• Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid operator's license for heavy machinery (loader)
• Proven experience operating loaders in a construction environment preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods of time
• Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
• Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and repairs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
