Job summary

PPOAR in Muscat is seeking a compassionate Live-in Caregiver for a full-time position with 40 hours per week and accommodation provided. You will support elderly clients with daily activities, medication administration, meals, and companionship in a home setting.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; English communication is essential, with Arabic being a plus. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work legally in Muscat.

Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to join our team in Muscat. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day assistance and care to our elderly clients who require round-the-clock support. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$ and accommodation is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Administer medications as prescribed by doctors
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, dishes, and tidying up
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the appropriate medical professionals
• Accompany clients to appointments or social events when necessary

Requirements

• No prior experience is required as training will be provided on the job
• Must have a caring and empathetic nature towards the elderly
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Arabic is an asset)
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting, bending, and transferring clients if needed
• Must be legally allowed to work in Muscat

Working Hours

This is a full-time position with the standard working hours of 40 hours per week. However, as this is a live-in role, some flexibility may be required based on the needs of the client.
