Job summary

Abroad Work in Muscat is seeking a compassionate caregiver for elderly clients at home. This full-time role involves personal care, medication reminders, meal support, light housekeeping and safe transportation to appointments.

You should be physically fit, able to lift or assist, and able to communicate in English (Arabic a plus). A biometric passport is required for international travel if needed. Salary is $1200 per month with no housing provided.

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible caregiver for elderly individuals in Muscat. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing support, assistance and companionship to elderly clients in their homes. This is a full-time job with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with medication reminders and ensuring medication is taken on time
• Help with meal preparation and feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
• Accompany clients to appointments or outings if necessary
• Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition to the family or healthcare provider

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a caregiver or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to handle medical emergencies
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel purposes
• Must be physically fit and able to lift/move elderly individuals if needed
