Job summary

PPOAR in Muscat is seeking a compassionate Live-in Caregiver for a full-time position with 40 hours per week and accommodation provided. You will support elderly clients with daily activities, medication administration, meals, and companionship in a home setting.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; English communication is essential, with Arabic being a plus. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work legally in Muscat.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided on the job.
• Caring and empathetic nature toward the elderly.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Arabic is an asset).
• Physical stamina to assist with lifting and transfers when needed.
• Must be legally allowed to work in Muscat.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Administer medications as prescribed by doctors.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, dishes, tidying up).
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor clients' health and report changes to medical professionals.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social events when necessary.
