Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the cake production line to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Operate, monitor, and control cake production machines and equipment.
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Monitor automation systems, HMI, and PLC-controlled equipment during production.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper material handling, machine setup, and line cleanliness.
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, downtime reports, and machine performance data.
• Implement and support TPM, 5S, and Kaizen activities within the production area.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma in Science, Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or High Industrial School qualification.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in confectionery or food manufacturing industry.
• Experience in cake production lines is mandatory; biscuit production experience will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of automation systems, HMI, and PLC controls.
• Strong understanding of industrial machine operation and maintenance.
• Good computer knowledge, especially MS Office and MS Excel.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
