Zusammenfassung

WOOD plc is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join its Projects team in Oman, delivering FEED and Detail Design scopes. You will lead project phases and drive strategies to meet technical requirements across onshore oil and gas initiatives.

Based in Sohar, you will guide multi-disciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with Asset Owners and vendors.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 FEED/EPC projects as Lead Project Engineer.
• Experience in refinery projects.
• Staff development and mentoring capabilities.
• Handling vendor documents.
• Good English language writing and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead the phases of the project including technical detailed design and deliver the technical requirements.
• Ensure safety and quality procedures are followed during execution.
• Lead pre- and post-contract discussions with Asset Owners to assess user requirements.
• Follow up project deliverables and participate in project reviews.
• Address and solve project execution challenges during development.
• Supervise site activities for progress accuracy.
• Mentor and guide younger engineers in related matters.
• Perform other related works.
