Wood is seeking a Contract Manager to join its Projects team in Muscat, Oman, focusing on FEED and Detail design scopes. This secondment role to OQ in Oman spans one year and involves managing contracts, risk, and commercial governance across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires extensive experience in FEED/EPC environments, strong leadership, and meticulous administration of post-award activities. Competitive compensation and a pathway to ongoing assignment are provided.

Formación

• Minimum 15 years of experience in similar projects.
• Ability to manage multi-discipline team during FEED and EPC phases.
• Ensure project deliverables align with company specs and standards.
• Strong leadership and technical expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Administer project contracts during execution and post-award stages.
• Manage contractual correspondence, deliverables, obligations, milestones, variations, claims, change orders, and payment-related issues.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Project Controls, and other stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and timely resolution of issues.
• Lead contract operation and administration for FEED/EPC contractors during post-award execution.
• Manage commercial interfaces with contractors, including instructions, clarifications, and performance issues.
• Evaluate and support negotiation of variations, claims, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with FEED/EPC obligations and milestones.
• Support cost control and forecasting with Project Controls.
• Maintain contract records and audit trails.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and mitigation actions at project level.
• Support EPC tender readiness strategy and alignment with FEED lessons learned.
• Participate in EPC ITT preparation and ensure completeness and integrity.
