Job summary

Atyab Group’s feed manufacturing plant in Oman seeks a senior operations leader to direct end-to-end production for animal-feed and aquafeed lines. You will safeguard product quality, drive process improvements, and lead a team across QA, maintenance and HSE, ensuring safety, efficiency and cost targets are met.

The role requires 8+ years in feed/food manufacturing and a track record in plant management, with expertise in extrusion/pelleting, KPI tracking and lean methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Feed/Milling Technology, Food Science, Animal Science or related.
• Professional certification in feed manufacturing, food safety (HACCP/GMP+), and operational excellence preferred.
• Experience 8+ years in feed/food/process manufacturing, including 3+ years in plant/production management or senior supervision.
• Proven experience leading animal-feed/aquafeed facilities with extrusion/pelleting.
• Experience leading production, quality, maintenance and HSE in integrated plant environments.
• Track record in cost control, KPI management, capital projects and continuous improvement.
• Know-how of grinding, mixing, conditioning, extrusion, pelleting, drying, cooling, coating & packaging.
• Knowledge of feed-safety, quality systems (HACCP, GMP/GMP+, ISO/FSMS), traceability and recall management.
• Maintenance, utilities and equipment reliability; preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Production planning, inventory, budgeting and conversion-cost control.
• HSE and food-safety regulations, Oman labor and regulatory compliance.
• KPI development, root-cause analysis and lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production across animal-feed and aquafeed lines to meet plan and quality targets.
• Manage scheduling, line changeovers, capacity utilization and minimize downtime and cross-contamination.
• Ensure finished feeds meet all nutrition and quality requirements; support audits and corrective actions.
• Lead plant supervisors and operators; promote HSE culture and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance on plant performance and cost control.
• Drive continuous-improvement/lean programs to raise productivity and reliability.
