Job summary

A leading food manufacturing firm in Oman is seeking an R&D Specialist to lead the product formulation department. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Food Science or a related field, with 5-8 years of experience in beverage R&D. Responsibilities include developing recipes for concentrates, conducting stability tests, and optimizing production costs. The role offers a competitive salary of 5,000 – 8,000 SAR monthly along with accommodation, transportation, and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Food/Beverage R&D, specifically focused on syrups, concentrates, or powder beverages.
• Deep understanding of food chemistry and ingredient interactions.
• Ability to join immediately is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine recipes for beverage concentrates, syrups, and powder drink mixes.
• Conduct rigorous stability testing and shelf-life analysis.
• Oversee pilot batches and manage transition to full-scale production.
• Analyze ingredients and processes to optimize production costs.
• Maintain records of formulations and processes for regulatory compliance.
