Work corp in Nizwa is hiring a Junior Accountant for a full-time position with on-the-job training. No prior experience is required, and you will assist with financial statement prep, records maintenance, invoicing, and month-end close tasks.

You will support budgeting, monitor expenses, and ensure policy compliance while developing core accounting skills in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or currently pursuing).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• No prior experience required.

Junior Accountant

We are in search of a Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Nizwa.

This is a full-time position and requires no prior experience. We will provide on-the-job training to help you excel in your role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and process invoices for clients and suppliers
• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Monitor expenses and identify ways to reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

Requirements
