Job summary

Ecojob in Nizwa, Oman is seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our finance team. This contract position offers valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to develop skills in daily financial operations.

You will assist with financial statements, manage payable/receivable tasks, reconcile accounts, and support budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory filings. Accommodation is provided, and immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
