Job description

As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting with various financial tasks including preparing financial statements maintaining records of financial transactions and reconciling accounts You will work closely with the senior accountant and learn about the companys financial processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate record of financial transactions
• Reconcile accounts on a regular basis
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Provide support for audits and tax filings
• Help identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounting or finance role preferred but not required
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations is a plus

This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English.

The job location is Nizwa so candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Nizwa are preferred.
