Job summary

Meranti Green Steel in Oman is building a robust IT function to support current operations and future plant developments. The IT Manager will design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications, and digital solutions at scale.

You will collaborate with corporate teams, service providers, and stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable technology and governance. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in IT with leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Experience establishing and managing IT functions in industrial, manufacturing, or large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Experience managing IT vendors, budgets, contracts, and technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Establish IT policies, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, and data security.
• Manage ERP, HR, Finance, Procurement, and document management systems.
• Lead budget planning, cost control, and vendor management.
• Coordinate with corporate teams and external providers for digital transformation.
