Job summary

BaseForce in Khasab, Oman is seeking an experienced Indian Chef to prepare and cook traditional Indian dishes, ensuring top quality for customers. You will lead a kitchen team, plan menu items, and maintain health and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, and the ability to train junior chefs. Salary is negotiable based on experience and local market conditions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role in a restaurant setting.
• In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine cooking techniques and spices.
• Ability to create new menu items while maintaining authenticity of traditional dishes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior chefs.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Fluency in Hindi or any other Indian language is preferred but not required.
