Job summary

Marsa LNG in Sohar seeks an HSE & Security Lead to direct health, safety, environment, emergency response, occupational health and security activities while supporting plant startup and long‑term operational excellence.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and oversees training, audits and performance metrics to ensure safe, compliant operations at the LNG plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• Six years of relevant experience.
• Omani nationality required.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE, security and emergency response programmes.
• Manage risk assessments, Permit to Work and SIMOPS activities.
• Support commissioning, startup and operational readiness.
• Oversee firefighting, medical and security services.
• Lead emergency preparedness, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE performance, audits and KPIs.
• Manage plant and marine security, including ISPS compliance.
• Ensure workforce HSE training and competency.
• Manage HSE and security budgets and contracts.
